July 13 - August 7, 2020 | NOMINATION PERIOD Between these dates, candidates may obtain nomination materials and file documents with the City Clerk (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.). |
August 8 - 12, 2020 | EXTENDED CANDIDATE FILING PERIOD Candidate filing period is extended if an incumbent eligible for re-election does not file nomination documents prior to 5:00 p.m. on August 7, 2020. Incumbents are not eligible to file during the extended period. |
August 8 - 17, 2020 | PUBLIC EXAMINATION PERIOD Public review period for candidate statements and ballot designations. |
August 13, 2020 | RANDOMIZED ALPHABET DRAWING Secretary of State to conduct Random Alpha Draw for candidate name order on ballot. |
November 3, 2020 | ELECTION DAY |
December 2020 | CERTIFICATION OF RESULTS Certification of election results and installation of newly elected officials (Council meeting date to be determined). |
